The Carpenter Training Center (CTC) provides training for 51,000 Pre-Apprentice, Apprentice, and Journeyman Union Carpenters in the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council (MACRC). The counties in the Northeast region of the are:

Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Iroquois, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will.

The Carpenter Training Center is a joint trusteeship of the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council with the residential and commercial union contractors of our ten counties. Three centers make up the Carpenter Training Center. They are the following:

Elk Grove Village

Every year, 7,500 of our members take advantage of over 225 different evening and weekend classes offered in our Carpenter Skill Advancement Program. These programs are taught in several languages and are offered at our three training centers.
