Applying for a General Carpentry Apprenticeship

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Driver’s Licenses
  • Social Security Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • High School Diploma/GED Certificate/ or a copy of your sealed Official Transcripts
  • Must be physically able to perform work of the trade
  • Pass a drug test

Entry Process

Applications are taken only on the 1st and 2nd Thursday of February & September.

Applications into the Rockford Campus may only be accepted and returned here, IN PERSON.

The hours will be from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

A $25.00 non-refundable processing fee is charged for all applications. Fees are accepted by personal check or money order only.

Checks and money orders should be made out to the Carpenter Training Center.

* No application will be given without payment. *

Every applicant will have an opportunity to interview with a representative from one of the Locals we are affiliated with.

The Rockford Campus is not a pre-apprentice program.
