Applications are accepted on the 1st and 2nd Thursday of February and September from 9:00am – 3:00pm.

All Applicants must be 17 years of age or older and have:

A valid Drivers License

Birth Certificate

Original Social Security Card

Sealed High School Transcripts, High School Diploma, or G.E.D. Diploma

You must reside in the one of the following counties: Boone, Bureau, Carroll, DeKalb, JoDaviess, LaSalle, Lee, Marshall, Ogle, Putnam, Stark, Stevenson, Whiteside or Winnebago.

A $25.00 non-refundable processing fee is charged for all applications – Check or Money Order only.

Qualifications

Must have submitted all required Application information

Must submit a letter of intent from a “Union” contractor or a letter of recommendation from a Local Union affiliated with the Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council

Must pass a Drug Test

Must be physically fit to perform work as a Carpenter or Floor Coverer

Local Unions
