Floor Covering
The Carpenter Skill Advancement Program (CSAP) schedule through the end of 2023 is now online. Hardware and OSHA classes fill up fast. To ensure a spot in the class you want, sign up online and submit a Course Registration Fee check to become registered for the class. Worst case is that we send it back to you or move it to another class if the class is full. The Apprentice Program will open its application period from June 5 thru July 7, 2023, for our General Construction program. For those individuals interested in applying to the Apprentice Program, click here to go to the Minimum Qualifications page for more information. It is highly recommended to visit our Math for the Trades page to brush up on your math skills and have a better chance of passing the tests. Perfect opportunity for those Seniors in High School wanting to get into the trades right after graduation.
Lathing
Effective January 1, 2023, the UBC Scaffold Erector Qualification and Rigger and Signaler Qualification will no longer have a grace period. Both Qualifications are good for 4 years and if it expires, the entire class will need to be retaken. A Refresher class will need to be taken prior to the expiration in order to renew the Qualifications. Please keep track of your classes and put reminders in your calendar on your phone at least 6 months prior to the expiration.
