On Saturday, June 3, the weather couldn’t have been any better for another successful Open House. Months of work went into getting the facility ready for this big event and some of the finishing touches were completed late Friday night. The school opened it’s doors to everyone even before the official 9:00am start time. We had over 100 vendors in our two facilities in Elk Grove Village showing off their products, offering literature to those interested and handing out free giveaways to over 4000 visitors that day. There were events going on all day such as Build-a-Toolbox for the kids; CPR training; SawStop table saw demonstrations, Virtual welding competitions; Health clinics for the members; outside vendors doing hands-on demonstrations of their new products; and Raffle prizes handed out the entire day to name a few. None of this would have been possible without the 46 members who volunteered to help out at this event. Thank you to everyone that showed up to our Open House and to everyone that helped us make this a terrific event or all.
