Q: When I type into my web browser search bar, I get a message that “This site can’t be reached”

A: You most likely spelled the web address wrong. Please be careful on how you spell, as it is very easy to forget certain punctuation. Common punctuation errors are the common cause of not reaching the web page. Always double check your spelling.


Q: When I start typing into the address bar, I am redirected to

A: This is only a suggestion from your web browser based upon your previous search history. Continue to type the full address into the search bar before pressing Enter to be redirected to the proper website. Ensure you spelled the web address correctly. Once you have visited a few times, this website will be in your suggested websites in the future as well.


Q: I forgot my username or password. What do I do now?

A: If you forgot your username or password. Immediately begin the process of resetting your username or password by clicking on the Forgotten your username or password? link on the login screen page.


Once you do, enter your username in the Search by username text box. If you forgot your username and password, then enter your email address that you registered with the front office Carpenter Training Center in the Search by email address text box. Then click the Search for the option you chose.


You will receive an email from EE Admin (via Chicap) within a few minutes to reset your password. Your username will be displayed in this email if you forgot your username as well and you had to Search by email address. Follow the instructions and then click on the link in the email. Once you clicked on the link, type in your new password and confirm your password by re-entering it in the box below. Make sure you meet the password requirements circled in red below. Once you are done click Save Changes and you will automatically be logged into your account. . REMEMBER YOUR USERNAME AND PASSWORD.


Q: I have double-checked and confirmed that I spelled correctly, and I still cannot access the website to do my homework. It seems like I am having internet connectivity issues. What do I do now?

A: If your home or where you choose to do your homework does not seem to suffice a good Wi-Fi signal, then you may have to relocate to a better network with a stronger signal. The Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council recommends you visit your local Starbuck® for optimal internet connectivity if you are facing this issue. They run Google Wi-Fi with download speeds averaging 51.16 Mbps according to a CNET peer reviewed article. These speeds are more than three times (3x) faster than the second best chain restaurant with free Wi-Fi (Taco Bell®).
