On November 1, 2021, the UBC changed the Rigging program to the Rigger and Signaler Qualification course. Here are some of the changes that affect everyone that has a Certified Rigger and Signaler (CRS) or Rigger and Signaler Qualification CTC:
- The NEW UBC Rigger and Signaler Qualification will be valid for four (4) years. There will be no grace period to take a Refresher course.
- Those with a current CRS or Rigger and Signaler Qualification will keep those designations until they expire.
- There is a 16-hour Rigger and Signaler Qualification Refresher class to renew your CRS or Qualification. This Refresher class will renew all current designations to the UBC Rigger and Signaler Qualification.
- Please check your training history to make sure a Refresher course is taken prior to the expiration of this Qualification. There will be no grace period. If it expires, you will need to retake the UBC Rigger and Signaler Qualification over again.
All further information will be provided by the instructor on the first day of the class. Please remember to register early and submit the course registration fee as soon as you register.
